autumn. weightless
when leaves first
are corked
and the moon holds nearest clouds
in harvest glow
released to the air
are
words of an 8 hour plus
coworker
who cares for an ailing spouse
weightless
that
is what she calls
today
later
i trigger
by my garage the motion
sensitive flood lights
one large moth
flickers the beam
in the way close wings
make shadows of big things
stars too dim to be seen
stay in constellation all night
pegasus,
since i was a boy,
too dim
evening facebook
is calming by
so many people
living and liking
staying connected
